Woman, 90, rescued
A 90-YEAR-OLD woman was airlifted from above Lindley Wood Reservoir with a suspected broken ankle.
Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association attended the incident on Tuesday at 12.35pm after being called out by the ambulance service to assist them.
The air ambulance was fortunately able to transfer the casualty to a road ambulance just as the first team members were arriving. The rest of the team were stood down en route.
