FRIENDS, family and wellwishers turned out in force to help a little girl get crucial cancer treatment.
A family fun day was held at LA Fitness in Yeadon to support Isla-Grace Large in her fight against Ewing’s Sarcoma Cancer. The toddler, who lives in Yeadon, has been having chemotherapy treatment at Leeds General Infirmary since she was diagnosed in October last year, when she was just 14 months old.
Her family launched a £10,000 fundraising campaign to help them take her abroad for lifesaving proton beam therapy treatment.
The event on Sunday was attended by the area’s MP Greg Mulholland. He said: “I was very pleased to be able to attend and support the family fun day to support Isla-Grace.
“It was great to see the support this brave 18-month-old girl is getting.”
