Attention home-owners, do you have unwanted used furniture in your house?
Rather than dispose of it, have you ever considered donating it? Unit 5 is part of the Bradford & District Branch of the RSPCA which welcomes donation of quality second hand furniture, so whether you have a three piece suite you are looking to update, a bed which no longer fulfils your needs or a coffee table which you inherited and no longer need, you can bring it to our outlet opposite our animal home on Mount Street, Bradford. (All donations of furniture are accepted dependant on condition.) Your donations will be resold in our outlet where customers can find a bargain on all products and you can take comfort and pride in the knowledge that the proceeds of the sale will be used to look after animals across the district.
In January, RSPCA Bradford launched the Operation Animal Save Appeal which is to run throughout 2015 with the object of raising £125,000 towards the upgrading, refurbishment and maintenance of much needed animal accommodation. With many of the original kennels now classed as no longer being fit for purpose, the centre has unfortunately had to reduce the amount of mistreated, abandoned dogs and puppies which are brought in by the dedicated inspectors. Donating your furniture is a step towards achieving this target and helping save animals across the district as the funds raised by the resale of your furniture will count towards this total.
The RSPCA remains a unique animal welfare charity combating cruelty and neglect to all animals as every animal has the right to be counted as individual and live a life free from pain and suffering. Work conducted in the Bradford district fights to ensure that care and attention is given to those most in need, challenging those who abuse helpless animals and tackling dog fighting.
Bradford’s Furniture Outlet is open Tuesday to Saturday between 9am – 4.30pm.
