AN MP has pledged his support to a campaign to Build a Better Britain.
Greg Mulholland, who represents Leeds North West, is backing the Royal Institute of British Architects, which wants to see better buildings across the UK. The institute is calling for improvements to include well-planned old people’s homes, creative, inspiring schools, smarter greener buildings, and flood proof communities.
Mr Mulholland said: “More consideration needs to be given to the buildings and communities we develop. We need more homes, but we also need to ensure that we are building the right homes in the right place.
“I am also very pleased that this campaign is focusing on providing a good-quality built environment to help our population.”
