NHS Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) governing body will hold its quarterly meeting in public today from 6.30pm at Central Hall, Alice Street, in Keighley.
Local people are invited to hear what the CCG is doing to improve health services across Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. Chairman of the governing body Dr Colin Renwick will give a presentation about the CCGs progress and there will be an opportunity for people to ask questions.
Dr Renwick said: “Public meetings give people a chance to listen and hear more about our work and what we do.
“We hope that by holding this meeting in the evening, we will attract people who are usually busy during the day to come along and get involved.”
Chief Clinical Officer Dr Phil Pue, GP, added: “We believe it’s important for people to listen to our discussions and see how we make decisions about the health services they use.
“This meeting is an ideal opportunity for the public, patients and carers to hear about our progress and ask the governing body members questions about our work.
“We want to encourage people to attend.”
The agenda and relevant papers can be viewed at airedale wharfedalecravenccg.nhs.uk.
Anyone who wants to register to attend the meeting can call 01274 237324 or email engage@awcccg.nhs.uk. If you are unable to come along but still have a question you would like to ask the governing body, tweet @NHSawcccg or email engage@awcccg.nhs.uk. The answers to questions raised will be on the CCG website after the meeting.
