The eight Ilkley Grammar School and Ilkley Gym Club gymnasts who competed in the regional competition
EIGHT Ilkley Grammar School students and members of Ilkley Gym Club competed in the Yorkshire Region National Development Plan Preliminaries in Barnsley on Sunday.
Ellen Williams, 12, Hope Thorp, 11, Bethan Morley, 13, Jessica Bretherick, 14, Ella Shuttleworth, 12, Hayley Brooks, 15, Robbie Matthews, 13 and Alexa Clark, 12, all did well.
Ella and Robbie won a silver medal in the mixed pairs.
The pair will now go on to represent Yorkshire at a competition in Southampton in May.
