ADDINGHAM’S Memorial Hall was home to a vibrant art exhibition, showcasing the work of a group of local artists and in celebration of charity SOS Mothers.
The exhibition took place on Saturday and featured the work of Joanna Angus, John Giles, Lisa Hinds, Susannah Lawless, and Jenny Young. A proportion of the profits from the event is going to SOS Children’s Villages charity, which provides loving homes and families to orphaned and abandoned children worldwide.
Joanna, who is travelling to the Gambia with her family in a few weeks to visit one of the SOS Villages, said: “I look forward to seeing first-hand the amazing work of the SOS Mothers and will feel proud to tell them about the generous donation that the people of Whafedale and beyond have contributed to such a well deserving cause.”
