Care company’s autism services in town up for award
A CARE company’s support for adults with autism in Otley has been shortlisted for a national award.
Options provides services for women with autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviours at The Thicket, on West Chevin Road.
That work has been shortlisted for the Autistic Spectrum Services category of the LaingBuisson Independent Specialist Care Awards 2015, whose finals were due to take place on Wednesday.
Its Adolescent to Adult Life Preparation Service, was also in the running for an award, while employee Geoff Evans was nominated for the Outstanding Contribution category.
