THE last in a popular series of Lent talks run by Churches Together in Ilkley will take place in the cafe at Christchurch, The Grove, on Wednesday March 18.
The Rev Rita Armitage, will talk about her work with Beacon (Bradford Ecumenical Asylum Concern).
The talk begins at 7.30pm. The churches have also organised two traditional events for Easter.
On Good Friday, April 3, there will be a Walk of Witness when members of the churches meet outside All Saints at 11.30am and walk around the town witnessing to the Easter events and praying for the community.
On Easter Sunday, April 5, there will be a service at the Cow and Calf Rocks to watch the sunrise at 6.15am. Details of other Easter events are being delivered to houses in Ben Rhydding and Ilkley.
