BEN Rhydding retirement village Audley Clevedon has won village of the year 2014 in Audley Retirement Villages’ annual awards.
Created on the site of Clevedon House School, the village was recognised by judges for its sense of community and pleasant atmosphere. Its club was highlighted as proof of this community feel, having signed up 100 members across the village and the local area.
Martin Broadley, head gardener at Audley Clevedon, has also been named ‘Back of House Star 2014’ for his work at the luxury retirement village. The award came in recognition of his achievements during the year and his tireless devotion to maintaining the gardens at Audley Clevedon.
