LOCAL MPs will attend a public meeting about housing and planning in Ilkley next weekend. Planning Issues and Localism: Is it Working? will be held at the Clarke Foley Centre at 1pm on Saturday, March 21.
Organised by Wharfedale and Airedale Review Development (Ward), admission is free although the group will welcome any contributions to its campaigning fund.
At least three MPs – Stuart Andrew (Con, Pudsey), Greg Mulholland (Lib Dem, Leeds North West) and Philip Davies (Con, Shipley) – will be taking part, along with a number of ward councillors.
Aimed at “everyone who cares about our area”, the meeting will conclude with a ‘question time’ type session.
