CHARITY shops in Wharfedale and Aireborough are launching their spring stock appeal to help raise vital funds.
Coinciding with National Spring Cleaning Week (March 16 to 23), Age UK Retail is calling on people to join its Big Bag Challenge, clearing out and donating unwanted items to their local charity shop.
The goal is to get 100,000 bags in just two weeks, helping the charity raise much-needed funds to support vital national and local services which often provide the only contact some older people have.
The shops, on High Street, Yeadon, Oxford Road, Guiseley, Boroughgate, Otley and The Grove, Ilkley, are among those accepting donations.
