THE following planning applications have been received by Leeds City Council: Otley: two-storey rear extension, Low Close Cottage, West Chevin Road. Otley: replacement of existing 17.8 metre high monopole (accommodating 6 antennas) with new 17.8 metre high monopole and antennas (accommodating 6 antennas). Installation of 1 new equipment cabinet accommodated within existing larger equipment cabinet enclosure, plus ancillary works, Chevin Lodge, Leeds Road.
Otley: erection of eight residential dwellings, Sales Office, Mill Row. Otley: change of use and conversion of existing commercial premises to four dwellings, The Canvas Man Ltd, 14 Crow Lane. Otley: alterations involving demolition and extension to restaurant/take away, 17 Bridge Street.
Pool-in-Wharfedale: 3.5m single storey rear extension, 3.35m to ridge height, and 2.25m to eaves, 2 Hawthorn Avenue.
Rawdon: works to trees in a Conservation Area: 1 - a single Ash tree (number 1 on the sketch plan) is to be removed by way of felling (not uprooted) to its base due to excessive shading of family gardens, belonging to our property and also number 3 New Road Side. 2 - a single Willow tree (number 2 on the sketch plan) that branches from the base in 2 directions is to have one trunk removed back to its base due to excessive shading to our family garden. It also hangs over the garden of 7 New Road Side and is in contact with a phone line. The vertical trunk is to be trimmed down to a height of 20-25ft due to excessive shading and also because it hangs over a neighbour’s garage, 5 New Road Side.
Rawdon: consent, agreement or approval required by condition 3 of Planning Application 14/07019/FU, 3 Well Close. Rawdon: works to trees with a TPO - to bring back to hedgerow status by reducing height of 117 Holly trees by approximately 900 mm, Buckstone Drive.
