POLICE are appealing for information following a serious three-car crash at North Rigton.
The incident happened at about 4pm on Friday, March 13, when a dark blue BMW 1 series was in collision with an Audi TT and a Mercedes. The accident took place at the junction of Dunkeswick Lane and Hall Green Lane on the A658, Pool-in-Wharfedale to Harrogate road. The Mercedes’ driver, a woman in her 50s, suffered head and back injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, while the driver of the Audi TT, a man in his 50s from Harrogate, was taken to Harrogate District Hospital with slight injuries.
The driver of the BMW, a 29-year-old man, was also taken to Harrogate District Hospital with minor injuries and was later arrested in connection with the collision. He has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
The BMW’s passenger, a man in his 20s, suffered serious back injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
