Cars escape fire damage
THREE fire engines were sent to tackle a fire in a garage containing two cars.
Fire engines from Ilkley, Otley and Rawdon stations went to Rowley Drive, Ben Rhydding, near Ilkley, for a fire in a double garage attached to a house.
The cars were not damaged but electricity supply installations were badly affected. A short circuit started the fire which was reported by the householder just before 7pm on Monday. No-one was hurt.
