AN OTLEY shop's winter wonderland display has earned it first place in a window-dressing competition.
The Orchard Florist's front window is currently filled with polar bears, penguins, mini Christmas trees, snowballs, stars and a blanket of snow.
The display impressed Town Mayor Councillor Peter Jackson as he was out on Sunday, December 6 to judge the entries in this year's Windows onto Christmas competition.
Cllr Jackson presented the shop's owner, Alishia Easthope, with the Alan Furze Memorial Cup and a £70 voucher to pay for a meal at local Italian restaurant Buon Apps.
The runners-up were Soft Options Otley, Patisserie Viennoise and Like Nana Did - who, having been 'pipped to the post', have received a voucher courtesy of Otley BID to spend at Chez Vin.
