AN AIREBOROUGH supermarket has given a cancer charity some reason to cheer this Christmas.
Sainsbury's Rawdon Apperley Lane Local has presented Christmas gifts plus a donation of £400 to CLIC Sargent.
Jenny Dixon, from the charity, said: "Thank you to the amazing Linda Guy and everyone at Sainsbury’s Rawdon Applerley Lane Local for the extremely generous donation of Christmas gifts for local families affected by cancer. Thanks also for their donation of £400 which will be used to support young cancer patients and their families through the darkest times."
Rawdon store manager Carl Lightowler added: "It’s been our pleasure to help support such a worthwhile charity which I know is close to Linda’s heart."
