AS there was no Ilkley Beer Festival this year due to the Covid 19 pandemic, festival mainstays Ilkley Brewery and Lishman’s Butchers got together to create some special Festival boxes.
The boxes enabled people to enjoy a taste of the event from the comfort of their own home.
Ten per cent of revenue raised was earmarked for Ilkley Round Table - who organise the annual beer festival to raise money for community good causes.
Luke Raven, of Ilkley Brewery said: “It was initially planned for the boxes to be available for the single week of the festival but the demand was so high, that the boxes were available for the whole month!
“In total 750 bottles of beer, 350 pork pies and 400 sausage rolls were sent out, and £231.94 raised for good causes."
