SUE Ryder Wheatfields Hospice is thanking everyone who took part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks and One Peak challenge on June 5.
The hospice's first event in more than a year was a huge success, raising over £20,000.
Becky Hollingworth, Community Fundraiser at the hospice said:“We had an incredible day at our first physical event in over a year. It was great see all of our amazing supporters brave the heat and hills to complete the Three Peaks and One Peak challenge for our Hospice.”
Russell Crowther, who was taking part with other members of his family, said: “When my mum Beverlie Crowther passed away on the 15th February 2020 in Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice, who looked after her so lovingly, Dad, myself and Scott said we would do all we could to raise money for such a caring place.”
Scott Crowther said: "We had a brilliant day doing the One Peak and want to say well done to Wheatfields for putting on such a well-organised and fun event.”
