ON Saturday, September 4 Mrs Duttons Wondrous Workshops at 3 Church Street invites you to step inside and explore the delights of communal crafting in Ilkley. From 11am to 4pm, visitors can pop in for treats, tasters and to meet some of the talented Yorkshire artists, designers and makers who make up the new crafting centre’s talented team of tutors.
You can try your hand at some of the more unusual crafts on offer such as giant knitting and yarn spinning or take an embroidery world tour, from the Dales to Japan. Start your Christmas list by signing up to crochet Nordic gnomes, quilt a North Country winter wreath or knit Christmas socks
Outside, Ilkley firm Balloon World will make sure the crafting destination can’t be missed, whilst inside staff and tutors will be there to greet you with delicious Mrs Duttons Wondrous Workshops’ biscuits and complimentary fizz from Church Street neighbour, Majestic Wines.
