WEST End and Friends is making a triumphant return to Yeadon Town Hall, with new live music shows scheduled - and a sprinkling of Christmas magic just around the corner.

Following a sell-out show in 2019, West End and Friends will return to Yeadon Town Hall on November 6 with a line-up including Kerry Ellis, Luke Bayer, Shan Ako, and Lloyd Daniels. The show will also provide a once-in-a-lifetime platform for local performers such as Futurist Theatre Productions’ cast members to join West End legends on stage.

Profits from the show will be donated to Mencap, a charity for those with a learning disability.

Live music will also be provided by The George Michael Story on November 5 and Through The Decades with Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly on November 7, so whether people enjoy enjoy classic pop tunes or want to take a trip down memory lane for the ultimate night of nostalgia, the town hall is promising something for everyone.

With Christmas just around the corner too, it’s no surprise that Yeadon Town Hall will be kicking off the festivities with the Yeadon Christmas Lights Switch On, which takes place on November 21. People are invited to enjoy Yeadon Charities’ Christmas Fayre from 12pm to 5pm before being treated to a line-up of live entertainment culminating in the grand lights switch on at 5.30pm.

Jamie Hudson, CEO of Yeadon Town Hall, says: “West End and Friends caused a huge stir in 2019 and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome back some of the biggest names in show business to Yeadon.”

There’s also plenty of Christmas magic to to look forward to throughout December, with events including the return of annual shows such as the Tree of Lights Concert on December 6, Yeadon Theatre Company’s Christmas Concert on December 12 and Futurist Theatre Productions’ Christmas Spectacular - Cabaret Edition from December 17 to 19.

Brand new events this festive season include Yeadon Town Hall’s Christmas Community Market on December 5. Showstopping Christmas Party nights are also set to take Yeadon by storm. From December 6 to 11, guests can enjoy a three course meal, spectacular live entertainment and a fully-stocked festive bar.

For a pre-Christmas get together, Yeadon Town Hall’s Winter Wonderland cafe will provide the perfect setting. From December 20 to 23, the Town Hall Tavern will be transformed into an enchanting land filled with magical decorations and plenty of sparkle. Audiences will be invited to enjoy a variety of live entertainment as they tuck into cakes and their tipple of choice. Entry is £2 on the door.

Wrapping up 2021, Yeadon Town Hall will host Vinyl Richie’s New Year’s Eve Party on December 31. People will be able to boogie the night away on the Town Hall dance floor while Vinyl and his spectacular dancers welcome 2022 in style.

Jamie said: “We love the run-up to Christmas here at Yeadon Town Hall, and this year is no exception. We’ll be going all-out with our Christmas decorations as we gear up for party nights, cosy afternoons in our winter wonderland cafe and unmissable festive performances all happening in December.”
