HORSFORTH resident Stella St David-Smith has been recognised by Northern Power Women on its influential ‘Power List’ for her work in the rail industry.
Stella St David-Smith, Northern's head of communications, along with colleague Kerry Peters, of Sherburn in Elmet, have been recognised for helping to accelerate gender equality in the North of England.
Their achievements will be celebrated at the Northern Power Women Awards in Manchester next month (March 21) where Northern itself is shortlisted in the ‘Large Organisation’ category.
They said: “We’re thrilled and humbled to be named alongside so many inspiring and esteemed women from across the North of England.”
