AN Ilkley motorist has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding on the A65 at Draughton.
Kevin Daniel Airey, 39, of Moor Road, Burley Woodhead, Ilkley, was also fined £473, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £47 and costs of £90 when the case was heard at Harrogate Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
Airey had pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred on March 18, 2021 when he was driving a Land Rover on the A65 at Draughton in excess of the 60 mph speed limit. He was caught by manned equipment.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six month due to repeat offending and his driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.
