A FREE Mother's Day concert will take place in Burley in Wharfedale.
The Anchor Big Band, with guest vocalist Nan Brimble, will appear at Burley in Wharfedale Social Club at 2pm on Sunday, March 27.
The 17 piece band, who are regular performers in the Yorkshire area and at Burley Summer Festival, will be performing a selection of standards from the Big Band era, together with some up to date arrangements.
A spokesman said: "With big band songs made famous by artists such as Count Basie, Woody Herman, and Glenn Miller, and a selection of modern tunes by artists like the Beatles, Billy Joel and Carole King, a good time is guaranteed for all. There’s a bar and plenty of room for dancing too."
The show starts at 2pm and entry is free.
Burley in Wharfedale Social Club is behind Jake Wright Land Rover on Main Street, LS29 7JW.
