FLYBE is returning to Leeds Bradford Airport with the reintroduction of routes to Belfast and Heathrow.

The announcement of the new routes is being hailed as "an important moment" by officials at LBA.

The airline was pushed into administration in March 2020 with the loss of 2,400 jobs as the Covid-19 pandemic destroyed large parts of the travel market. But today it announced 23 new routes at airports across the UK.

The new routes include up to three flights daily between Belfast City and Leeds Bradford from April 28, as well as up to three daily from LBA to London Heathrow from the same date.
