AN ILKLEY man has been fined for failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver when required.
The case against Gary Winters, 50, of Wellington Road, Ilkley, was found proved at Bath Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.
The court heard that on July 22, 2021 having been required by or on behalf of the Chief Officer of Police for Avon and Somerset Constabulary, he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
He was fined £660 ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £66 and costs of £90.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
A charge of exceeding a 40 mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order on June 15, 2021 in Bristol was withdrawn.
