A FORMER police officer who survived coronavirus in his 90s is featuring in an online audio archive.
Norman Copsey, 94, from Yeadon, talks about his life on the Back-Chat archive, which was launched by local historian Carlo Harrison to record the lives of ordinary people. Mr Copsey was 92 when he was interviewed.
Mr Harrison said: "Norman is a straightforward, non-smoking, teetotal man, a respected Police Officer and father to 11 children.
"In this interview Norman tells his life story with little interruption from me - just as it should be.
"A keen boxer and God-fearing man who, as a police officer, made it his business to help people who needed it and making sure that wrong-doers knew not to have him called out to the same incident twice."
The audio archive has continued to grow despite the pandemic and includes interviews with people around the world.Visit https://back-chat.org.uk/ to listen.
