A 75-YEAR-old woman has been fined £100 for drink driving.
Carla Barker, 75, of Moor Top, Guiseley, drove a vehicle on Queensway, Yeadon, on April 4, 2022, when over the alcohol limit. She had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
She pleaded guilty at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 4.
As well as a fine of £100 she was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
She was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months. The defendant's guilty plea taken into account when imposing sentence.
