A YEADON man has been fined and banned for drink driving.
Wayne Craig Adams, 49, of Cricketers Green, Yeadon, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 11.
He pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while above the alcohol limit.
The offence occurred on April 17, 2022, at Otley Road, Leeds, when he drove a motor vehicle with 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
He was fined £400, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £40 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 20 months.
The defendant's guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.
