POLICE investigating a road traffic collision in Guiseley on July 22 are issuing a further appeal for witnesses after the cyclist involved died in hospital.
The 82-year-old cyclist, from Bradford, was seriously injured in the collision which happened on the A65 New Road at 10:50am outside Morrisons Petrol Station and involved a blue Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta driver was uninjured but the cyclist was rushed to hospital where he later died.
The family of the deceased have asked for their privacy to be respected.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has footage that may assist this investigation, is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, or via the LiveChat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website, log reference 0566 of July 22.
