AN Otley man is awaiting sentence after admitting indecent exposure and being found guilty of assault by beating.
David Fawcett, 52, of Hamilton Terrace, pleaded guilty before Leeds magistrates on July 27 to one charge of indecent exposure which occurred on April 29 this year at Hamilton Terrace where he exposed his genitalia.
At the same court appearance, Fawcett was found guilty after a trial to a separate charge of assault by beating of a woman. This offence also occurred at Hamilton Terrace on April 29 this year.
The bench sitting at Leeds Magistrates' Court ordered sentencing for both cases be adjourned to August 18 for the preparation of pre-sentence reports.
The defendant was granted unconditional bail until the date of the hearing and must attend.
