A DRUNK Otley man has admitted disorderly behaviour and assaulting a police officer and is due to be sentenced this week after being held on remand.
Jamie Peters, 29, of The Broadwalk, admitted drunk and disorderly behaviour in Street Lane, Roundhay, Leeds, on February 19 this year when his case was brought before Leeds Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The defendant was not present.
He also admitted assaulting police constable Largent by beating him on February 19 at Leeds District Police Headquarters, in Elland Road.
Peters had initially denied the assault charge but changed his plea to guilty on July 22.
The defendant has also changed his plea to guilty from not guilty to using threatening behaviour at police HQ, racial harassment at Holt Farm Close, Leeds, possessing cannabis in Leeds and assault by beating of Gary Whitford at Asda in Holt Road, Adel, all on June 18.
He also failed to attend an initial assessment following a test for cocaine on April 20 at Duncan Street, Leeds.
Peters is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court, tomorrow (Thursday) for sentencing.
