POLICE are seeking those responsible for the theft of a dog which turned up in Guiseley.
The dog, was stolen between 9.20pm and 9.46pm on July 31, from the garden of an address in Alma Street, Shipley.
The owners had just returned from walking the dog and left it resting in a secured front garden. The owners went back out to the dog a short time later to discover it missing.
The stolen dog was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, brindle, brown, beige with black stripes and a black muzzle.
At 11.34pm the police received a further call from the owner to say the dog had been located safe and well at Guiseley train station.
Enquiries are still ongoing and West Yorkshire Police are asking if anyone near Guiseley Station that evening - between 9.50pm and 11.30pm - can recall seeing someone with a dog that matches the above description.
