A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after coming off their bike this morning.
The incident occurred on Eccup Lane, near Golden Acre Park, at around 7.30am on Tuesday.
Traffic has been slow on the road ever since.
A spokesperson from the force said: "The cyclist has braked and come off their bike.
"They have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
"We were called at 7.30am."
