AIREBOROUGH Rotary Brass Band Concert takes place at Yeadon Town Hall, on Sunday, October 30 at 2.30pm with The Hepworth Band.

A rotary spokesman said: "The Hepworth Band’s website recently carried a picture of a rehearsal under the byline of ‘back in the old routine’ and Aireborough Rotary members are delighted to welcome the band back once again fronted by the irrepressible Frank Renton. The title of the afternoon performance intends to celebrate the reign of our late Queen Elizabeth II with music from throughout her 70 year reign.

"As usual Frank has invited a guest soloist and this year we are delighted to welcome cornettist Jim Heyes from the Co-operative Band sponsored by the Geneva Instrument Company. The Hepworth Band for their part are proud to include James Blackford, a euphonium player, a Besson artist and superb musician from Australia.

"The programme for the afternoon has not yet been finalised with items currently being rehearsed and considered including Crown Imperial, Vitae Aeternum, Jubilee Overture, Nimrod and Royal Fireworks. A full programme will be announced soon."
