BURLEY-in-Wharfedale's Christmas lights were taken down last week - but the lights will remain in the park to brighten up the dark winter nights.
Village lights organiser Tom Sumner MBE said: "Another year and counting – 41 years of Burley-in-Wharfedale’s famous Christmas Light display.
"The lights were taken down last Thursday, Friday and Saturday by our intrepid volunteers and stored away ready for next December.
"If you did not get chance to see them the volunteers have decided to continue our new tradition of leaving the lights up through the park. This brightens up the area throughout the dark months of winter, they will be turned off again in March. So, if you missed them or just want a walk during the dark evenings the park is the place to be."
