THE Rotary Club of Headingley are once again holding their annual Bridge Drive in Bramhope.
The event started in 2013 and has been successful in raising money for their various charities from St Vincent's and other hospices, Think like a Pony,The Sylvia Wright Trust to Maggies at St James Hospital. Sadly during COVID it had to be cancelled but this year President Julia Marshall is pleased to say: 'We're back!'
Always a successful event, bridge players from far and wide come along to St Giles Church Hall for lunch, bridge and afternoon refreshments. The bridge is informal and suitable for all abilities, but most people come for the food.
Headingley Rotary's chosen charity this year is Yorkshire Air Ambulance so they hope to have a bumper turn out for this worthwhile cause on February 27, 2023 at 12.15pm
If you would like to take part please contact Nick Pinches, 07766372446 or nick.pinches@gmail.com. Tickets are £12.
