MENSTON Library has added a new attraction to the already welcoming atmosphere. They decided an empty wall space could be filled with some of the excellent work produced by local clubs.
Currently it is the turn or the Menston club known as TOPS (Thursday Oil PainterS). The art work displayed is mostly for sale but it is hoped that local residents will enjoy seeing this month's collection of work before possibly considering a purchase.
The exhibition is open now for visitors to enjoy. It is hoped it will be followed by further exhibitions in the future.
The library is open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
The premises are a warm space on Tuesday and Friday from 10am to 1pm.
There are activities every day generally organised by librarian Jill Cooke, and her team of volunteers, who welcome all visitors. These include jigsaw making and scrabble.
