BURLEY Theatre Group is proud to present this year’s magical and musical tale of Goldilocks and The Three Bears written by Celia Fox and directed by Pam Leach.
A truly captivating, family show featuring much comedy, singing, dancing and live music including performances from the fabulous Unity Ukes!
Goldilocks is the tale of a young girl who whilst lost in the woods, discovers a deserted cottage with bowls of porridge and inviting beds which are just what the hungry, tired Goldilocks needs!
However, the cottage belongs to three bears and they soon return to discover her fast asleep! Of course as this is panto these bears have suitcases and are dressed like Elvis!
With a strong Elvis theme running throughout, a side plot of Razzle Dazzle Circus in need of help and a panto ‘baddie’ performed by regular panto villain John Wise as evil circus owner ‘Gregor Grabandi’, you will be kept enthralled throughout.
Can Razzle Dazzle survive? Will the bears ever get to go to Vegas? Come along to find out and enjoy this wonderful story.
Performances are at the Queen’s Hall, Burley in Wharfedale on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th of February at 7:30pm and Saturday 25th of February at 12pm and 5:30pm.
