SHOCKING footage has emerged apparently showing two parents fighting while surrounded by school children.
Multiple videos were spread on social media yesterday afternoon of an altercation between two men. Police confirmed officers were called to reports of a fight just after the end of the school day.
This was on a green off Harrogate Road (B6152) and Quakers Lane.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Shortly before 3pm police received reports of a fight taking place off Harrogate Road, Rawdon.
"The incident dispersed after a short time and no injuries were reported."
One of the videos seen by the Telegraph & Argus lasts 58 seconds and begins with the men tussling and moving across the green while surrounded by school pupils, some of whom can be heard screaming and shouting various utterances, as well as seen filming the altercation.
At one point, an item drops from one of the men while he seems to have the other individual in a headlock.
A separate man in a suit enters the foreground of the video and can be heard saying: "Gentlemen, gentlemen, stop, please, stop, stop."
The altercation continues while this is happening and at one point someone can be heard saying: "Oh he's bleeding".
The man continues to plead with the men to stop, but one of them says: "I am not going to stop".
Both assess each other and jockey around the green, before more aggressive moves are made.
A woman manages to get between the men, which breaks the fight up.
