MEMBERS of the Yeadon Town Hall Thursday Tea Club received and enjoyed an early Big Help Out in the shape of a coronation celebration at their town hall venue, decorated for the event by Jordan Smith.
Encouraged by enthusiastic royalist Judith Watkinson, the event was the joint effort of Aireborough Rotary, the BrassNeck Theatre and Yeadon Charities. Together they provided, made, baked and served the food and ensured all Thursdays’ regular opportunities to join in the fun were included.
Entertainment, in the hands of Ukelele Henry, brought celebrating dancers onto the floor. Singing also had its place with a double, enthusiastic rendition of all verses of the National Anthem followed by the Loyal Toast saluted with Prosecco provided by Yeadon Town Hall’s Jamie Hudson . A good time was certainly had by all, including the participating volunteers for the day.
New members are always welcome at this thriving club.
