This Friday (June 23) Yorkshire Rewilding Festival will present WildSong - a unique outdoor event exploring rewilding through music and spoken word.

This event, aimed at connecting audiences with nature through the arts, has been organised by Yorkshire Rewilding Network and will take place in the grounds of Farnley Hall, Otley.

Festival Director, Samantha Mennell said: “This magical, intimate evening will start in a wildflower meadow where participants can enjoy drinks before being led through the beautiful grounds for a night of storytelling and folk music. The performances are designed to connect the audience with the natural world and with the hope that rewilding can bring to us all.”

There will also be a mobile bar on site, supplied by Yorkshire Craft Beer and the event is supported with funding from Leeds Inspired, part of Leeds City Council and Clarion Solicitors.

Any profits made will support the Yorkshire Rewilding Network.

Tickets for both performances (5.30pm and 7.30pm) are available at: https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/yorkshire-rewilding-festival-2023-1884409 For more information about Yorkshire Rewilding Network go to: https://www.yorkshirerewildingnetwork.org.uk/
