A SPECIAL Christmas gig and fundraiser is being organised at Otley Social Club by Otley 30 to acknowledge another successful year for the climate action charity which works on many climate action and social action projects around the town.
The event is on Friday, December 8, and will be welcoming three local bands: The Wild Women of Wharfedale, V Neck and Squtternut Bosh. All the bands have very different sounds so there will be something for everyone. There will also be a raffle and a silent auction. All funds raised will go towards funding current and new Otley 2030 projects in 2024.
This year’s project highlights have include launching Otley Community Larder, working with Otley Courthouse to deliver Otley Big Green Weekend and partnering with local nature groups to secure the Weston Woods community buyout.
To make the music event as accessible for everyone as possible ticket prices will range from £0-£16. You will also be able to make an additional donation with whichever ticket you select, and there will plenty of opportunities to donate on the night.
To buy a ticket go to: https://tinyurl.com/O2030fundraiser Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Doors open at 7:30pm with the first band performing at 8pm.
