A POPULAR hair stylist is to stop trading after 30 years.

Louise Collins-Brooks has been running Gifted Angel, on New Market in Otley, for the last 13 years.

The hair salon will shut for good later this year on September 5.

Louise made the announcement on Facebook, citing a move to Sweden as the reason for the closure.

Louise's post on the Gifted Angel page read: "After 30 years trading in Otley and 13 years of running Gifted Angel I am excited but also sad to announce that I will be moving on with the next chapter of life and starting a new life with my husband Ian in Sweden.

"I have had the most amazing and wonderful time meeting and forming fantastic friendships and making memories with the people of Otley and surrounding areas."

She added: "I opened Gifted Angel on September 5, 2011, and will stop trading on September 5, 2024.

"I am continuing to work up to that date and am looking forward to seeing my customers who have supported me throughout the last 30 years.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank customers and colleagues who have been part of my journey and have brought laughter, love and loyalty."
