TWO people were rushed to hospital late last night after a car crashed with a tree.
Emergency services were called at 11.08pm on Wednesday to the one-vehicle crash, which involved a car colliding with a tree on Cookridge Lane, Cookridge.
Two people were involved in the crash, but one of them had to be rescued from the vehicle.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A car crashed into a tree. Two people were involved and one person was trapped in the vehicle suffering chest pains.
"Fire crews rescued the casualty from the vehicle and both people were transported to hospital by ambulance."
Cookridge and Moortown Fire Station were called to the scene along with a special teams CLM vehicle.
