THE 37th Otley Victorian Fayre will definitely be held on December 1.
The new organising committee is holding an open meeting on May 1, at 7pm, in Otley Town Partnership office, 1A Mercury Row, to enable the public to hear its ideas and thoughts on the 2024 fayre.
Committee chair Steph Lee said: “First of all a massive thank you to everyone who supported or attended the 2023 Otley Victorian Fayre in December. It was lovely to receive so many positive comments from people who attended telling us what a wonderful day they had.
“We have started preparations for the 2024 fayre, and are well on the way to having things in place for the traditions to continue.
“Otley Victorian Fayre has been running for 36 years, this is our 37th year. The new committee is formed from members of the previous committee, the fayre traders, as well as fresh blood. We also are supported by the old committee, both in preparation and on the day itself.
“So we are now combining the old and the new, to help carry on the traditions, bring new ideas and attractions to continue the character and charm.
“If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to get involved, please get in touch at enquiries@victorianfayre.co.uk.”
