THE 2024 season of concerts at Bolton Priory Church, Bolton Abbey, BD23 6AL, opens on Saturday, May 4 at 7pm, with a brass band concert given by the prize winning York Railway Institute Band.
The band was established in 1883 and is York’s oldest brass band. In 2023 the band were the North of England Champions.
A spokesperson said: "York Railway Institute band has established a reputation for entertaining the public with its lively concert performances and regularly appears at theatres, halls and concert venues throughout the UK.
"If you love brass bands then this is a concert not to be missed."
Tickets are £15 which includes a glass of wine or a soft drink.
They are available from www.boltonpriory.org.uk and on the door on the night.
Free parking is available at Bolton Priory.
