BINGLEY Little Theatre is pleased to announce their production of Harold Pinter's critically acclaimed play, The Homecoming. This thought-provoking drama will run from July 15 to 20 at Bingley Little Theatre with performances starting at 7:30pm.

The Homecoming, is a play that delves into the dynamics of family relationships, power struggles, and hidden desires.

It revolves around a family living in a cramped North London home. The household consists of three brothers: Teddy, a philosophy professor; Lenny, a pimp; and Joey, a boxer. They live with their ageing father, Max, who is a retired butcher.

The plot thickens when Teddy brings his wife, Ruth, home for a visit. Ruth’s presence disrupts the family’s routine, revealing long-buried tensions and secrets. As the play unfolds, we witness a battle for dominance, sexual tension, and unexpected alliances.

Ruth’s ambiguous relationship with the other men in the house becomes a central focus. Is she a victim or a manipulator?

Nikki Ford who plays Ruth loves how in control and confident she is, but dislikes how cold and cruel she can be. Nikki is delighted to be returning having performed twice with BLT.

Rick Hyland who is playing the part of Lenny said: “ There is a fine line between shock and humour, so the audience may be surprised by what others find funny.”

Rick is no stranger to the stage having performed with Guiseley and Ilkley companies.
