THERE were many smiling and happy faces at Guiseley School this morning as students celebrated exam success after collecting the all-important envelope that contained the results of their A-Level examinations.
The majority of grades achieved by students was in the A*-B range, with nearly a third of grades at A*-A.
Students will now enjoy the excitement of preparing for their chosen Post-18 destinations, going on to study a variety of different courses such as Apprenticeships, specialist centres as well as a wide range of prestigious universities including, Oxford, Cambridge and many Russell Group destinations.
Headteacher Paul Clayton said: “It is a real pleasure to be able to celebrate results day with our students this morning. The huge number of happy faces and students excited about their next steps is magical to see. It is an affirmation of the hard work and dedication they have put into their studies as well as a testament to the fantastic support they get from their families and the staff here at Guiseley. They are a fantastic group of young people, and we wish them every success and happiness as they move on to the next chapter of their lives. We know they will achieve wonderful things.”
