THE families and staff at Chapter One Childcare in Farnley have demonstrated generosity and community spirit by raising just over £300 to support children in need.
As part of the initiative, nursery families made heartfelt contributions by donating books, which were then featured in a successful book sale. Additionally, the nursery hosted engaging craft sessions, offering children and their families an opportunity to create handmade crafts while contributing donations to the cause.
Throughout the week, children actively participated in a series of activities designed to nurture their understanding of compassion and the importance of helping others.
Nursery manager Sarah Fozzard said: "Chapter One Childcare would like to say a big thank you to everyone who got involved. Your kindness and teamwork have made a real difference for such an important cause."
